You can create tasks with due dates, track the time remaining, receive local notifications as reminders, and see progress via Live Activities on your device. You can also share tasks with others.

Our Philosophy: Your Data Stays Yours

In a world where many apps collect vast amounts of data, we believe in a different approach. Our core principle is to respect your privacy by handling your information with the utmost care – which, in our case, means largely *not* handling it at all.

Here is the essence of our privacy promise to you:

No data is being collected from this app

Let’s Be Crystal Clear: What We ABSOLUTELY Do NOT Collect

  • No Personal Information: We don’t ask for, track, or store your name, email address, location, IP address, device identifiers, or any other information that could personally identify you.

How Your Task Data is Handled (It Stays On Your Device)

The task data you create within the app (task titles, due dates, completion status) is:

  • Stored Locally: Your tasks are stored directly on your device using standard, secure local storage mechanisms (specifically, using App Group UserDefaults to allow sharing with related widgets).
  • Used for Features: This local data is used *only* within the app to show your task list, calculate time remaining, power local notifications, and display information in Live Activities.
  • Shared Locally for Widgets: If you use the app’s widgets, the task data is shared securely *between the app and the widget on your device* via a shared App Group container. This data does not leave your device.
  • Imported by Your Action: If you choose to import task files (like those shared via AirDrop), the app processes the data within that file locally on your device. This is data you are actively providing, not data being collected passively.

None of this task data leaves your device unless you actively choose to share a specific task file.

What This Means For You

  • Ultimate Privacy: Your activity within the app is your business and yours alone. Your task data remains on your device.
  • No Data Breaches (of Your Data): Since we don’t hold your data on our servers, it cannot be compromised in a breach on our end.
  • No Data Shared or Sold: It’s impossible for us to share, sell, or transfer your personal or usage data to third parties because we simply do not possess it. Your task data isn’t shared either, except locally with your own widgets or when you explicitly share a task file.

Children’s Privacy

Our app is not directed at children, but because we collect absolutely no data from *any* user, there is no data collected from children either. We comply with regulations like COPPA simply by not collecting data from anyone, regardless of age.
